Open to those in need every Sunday from 1:00pm -2:30 pm.

The Haws Avenue Soup Kitchen was started on January 2nd, 2000 Haws Avenue United Methodist Churchand serves a meal to those in need every Sunday throughout the year. The Soup Kitchen also holds a Christmas Dinner annually on Christmas Day, which is hosted by Victory Church and over 100 members of the community attend each year. Currently, ten teams volunteer at Haws Avenue to cook and serve meals. The teams are comprised of members of Haws Avenue UMC as well as members of other churches both in and outside of Norristown. The goal of The Soup Kitchen is to make our guests feel welcome and to show them the hands and feet of God in action.

Open each month on the third Tuesday (6pm-7:00pm) and the fourth Saturday (10am - 12:00pm)

Our Food Pantry is open to those who live in Norristown on the west side of Markley Street.

It is open the third Tuesday of each month from 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm and the fourth Saturday of each month from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm.
